Jimmie ‘Noodles’ Romanoff
In 1959 at the age of 9, inspired by the music of Red Nichols, Jim Romanow began playing the cornet. In 1964, after losing his will to the seductive spell of an electric guitar, he converted his high school Dixieland jazz combo to a surf band, ‘The Infinity Four’. 40+ years later, traversing rock, blues, funk, folk, country and a brush with pop exposure when his psychedelic band opened two shows for Three Dog Night in 1970, Jim is still under that spell. Since 2005, as Jimmie ‘Noodles’ Romanoff, he has continued rocking by adding his energetic style to The Kingpins’ performances.
